All on Four and All on Six Implant Treatments
In the All on Six (All on 6) implant technique, 6 implants are placed in an edentulous jawbone and prosthetic teeth are fixed onto them. In the All on Four (All on 4) technique, 4 implants are placed in the edentulous area and prosthetic teeth are fixed onto them.

What Is the Difference Between All on Four and All on Six?
The All on Four technique uses 4 implants, while All on Six uses 6. The number of implants is determined according to the patient's jawbone density, bone volume and clinical need. Using more implants generally provides a wider distribution of chewing load.
The Procedure
After a detailed examination by the dentist (including radiographic imaging), implants are placed in the jawbone and fixed prosthetic teeth are mounted onto them. In suitable cases, implant placement and fitting of a temporary denture can be completed on the same day.
