Complete (full) dentures are removable dentures that rest on the upper and lower jaw, taking support from tissue, in situations where all the teeth in the mouth have been lost for various reasons such as decay, bone resorption and trauma.

The Procedure
Impressions of the mouth are taken and a complete denture suited to the jaw structure is designed. The denture rests on and takes support from the tissue and is custom-made for the patient's mouth. A few try-in sessions may be needed for it to fit properly.
Adaptation and Care After the Denture
A mild adjustment period may be experienced during initial use. Regular cleaning, proper storage conditions and periodic dental check-ups increase the lifespan and comfort of the denture.
